Looking for ways to get involved with YUPs? We want you!
The Young Urban Preservationists of The Landmark Society of Western New York are an open group—we don’t have a formal membership program and we welcome people of all backgrounds. We don’t check ID’s at the door but most of us are in our 20s, 30s, and early 40s. Folks of all ages are welcome at all of our events! We meet monthly to discuss and plan events, volunteer opportunities, and social gatherings. These are a great way to get familiar with our work and decide if the group is right for you. No prior expertise in historic preservation or urban planning is required, just enthusiasm for old and historic places!
